Scholarship: Selection Committee

To carry out the scholarship offering selectively, a committee of Tongren University officials was established to manage and organize the scholarships. The committee is the University president, the Vice President Academic, the Director of Foreign Affairs, and the Department of Student Assistance who meet twice every semester, at the beginning and the end of the semester.

On initial recommendation each year, the committee presents their candidates to a representative of the Zimmer Foundation for final approval. A member of the selection committee notifies the scholarship recipient of the award.

Each semester the academic standing and classroom performance is reviewed by the selection committee for continuing the provided scholarship.
